The Club
Sportstown is located just before the overpass when heading south on No.5 Road between Cambie and Westminster Hwy, on the right-hand side. Formerly known as the Western Indoor Tennis Centre, the club has been in operation since 1972. Sportstown Tennis Club has lots to offer players of all ages and ability levels. The club has over 400 members. By joining you will have access to playing partners, court times, programs and first class facilities. |

Facility
Sportstown Tennis Club has five indoor (permanent) hard courts with a private member's lounge available for dining, parties or just relaxing and watching some tennis. There are men's and women's changing rooms complete with showers, saunas and lockers. Junior members have their own changing rooms (boys and girls) with lockers and showers. Food and beverage service is provided by a fully licensed restaurant that includes a fireplace. There is also a Sports Bar with darts, pool table and satellite TV. Members also have access to an outdoor swimming pool, gym and sporting goods store with a complete line of tennis gear. |

Programs
A variety of instructional programs are offered year round for players of all ages and ability levels by Head Pro Tudor Nita and tennis pros Steve Kenig, James Mok and Kristine Ang. The club runs many social programs including 50 Plus Night, Men's Doubles Night and Men's and Women's leagues. Junior members can take advantage of the junior ladder, tennis camps and a special junior tournament held during spring break. Sportstown Tennis Club is wheelchair accessible and has a group of players that play on Saturdays. Instructional clinics are offered for new wheelchair players. |
